What You Will Learn In This Course
My name is Edward Sim, I am digital media designer and Adobe Photoshop instructor.
Together, we are going to explore, learn and experience the basics of Photoshop.
In this course, we shall tour the interface of Photoshop, learn how to open and create images to playing with layers.
This course is aimed at people completely new to Photoshop. We are going to start from scratch and work our way through step by step.
By the end of this course, you will use Photoshop with confidence.
We will start by looking into the work area of Photoshop, familiarise it.
You will explore the basic commands such as open, create, zoom and pan images in Photoshop, learn the undo command and explore the right way to save file.
I will show you how to manipulate an image by resizing, repositioning and etc, the best way to crop an image as well as image resolution setting.
You will learn how does layers work in Photoshop by understanding the basics, then play with layers by resizing and adding them.
You will get to practice what you have learned in this course by participating in the projects I have prepared for you.
Exercise files are available for you to and use, so that you can follow along in the videos. There will be some assignments that I have prepared so you can put the skills you have learned into practice.
